Treasure Tannock, MA
Doctoral Investigator
Treasure Tannock is a doctoral candidate in the Clinical Psychology program at Teachers College. She has studied drama therapy at Spelman College in Atlanta, The Danish Institute in Denmark, Habitat in Bangalore, India, and in the Drama Therapy program at New York University. Her research primarily addresses the macro-political, meso-cultural, and micro-individual barriers to mental health care, alongside prevalent dual diagnoses common among these populations (i.e substance use). Pairing her research interests with a background in firefighting and karate, she employs a intersectional, creative, and physical clinical approach working specifically in carceral, in-patient, and theatre settings.
