Talia Weine (she/her/hers)

Research Assistant 

Talia Weine is a first-year Master’s student in the General Psychology program at The New School for Social Research, and she plans on pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology. Prior to graduate school, she worked as a case manager on an alternative to pretrial detention program at the Center for Justice Innovation, and then in fundraising at Global Citizen, a nonprofit focused on poverty alleviation. She earned her BA in Religious Studies at Washington University in St. Louis in 2021, where she served on the university’s peer sexual violence helpline and worked at the WashU Prison Education Project. Her research interests focus on developing effective mental health interventions for people and families impacted by the criminal legal system.
