Doctoral Investigator

Stephanie Tran is a first-year Clinical Psychology master’s student at Teachers College, Columbia University. Her research interests are related to cross-cultural contexts and intergenerational patterns amongst Southeast Asian Americans, with particular emphasis on neurodiversity—especially autism spectrum disorder—and the experiences of immigrant and undocumented families. She is especially interested in applied research that advances health equity across diverse and underserved populations. Stephanie graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. Following the completion of her master’s degree, she intends to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and contribute to the development of culturally responsive and equity-driven mental health care. In her personal time, she enjoys attending concerts, watching films, and playing with her dog.
