Clinical Expert

Dr. Drapkin is a Board-Certified clinical psychologist. Dr. Drapkin has both research and treatment expertise in substance use disorders (SUD) and co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders (COD). She is the founder of a group practice called, the CBT Center, where she treats individuals with SUD and COD. Dr. Drapkin is a longtime member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT). She has worked with justice-involved people with COD in the VA, community mental health settings, and private practice. She is also the author of a book from New Harbinger Publications – The Motivational Interviewing Path to Personal Change: The Essential Workbook to Creating the Life You Want.  Dr. Drapkin’s mission is “Better Access to Better Care” and she is often working hard behind the scenes to live into that mission. In her downtime, you can often find her on the softball field, with her daughter’s Girl Scout troop, or walking her yappy schnauzers.
