Emma Master (she/they)

Doctoral Investigator

Emma is a doctoral student in clinical psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University. Her research explores the new landscape of how people are engaging with conversational AI tools (LLMs) for emotional and mental health support and how this new technology affects access to quality healthcare. She has previously done research and applied intervention work in spirit-mind-body wellness interventions for young adults at Columbia University and Stanford University. Emma’s clinical interests integrate mind–body–spirit approaches for individuals and groups, including behavioral therapies, somatic practices, and creative/dance-based modalities. She enjoys music and being outside whenever possible.
