Bailey McGuinn recently graduated with a M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University after receiving a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Virginia. During her time at Teachers College, Bailey volunteered at the Children’s Day Unit / Y-TEAM at Columbia Psychiatry and as a head Research Assistant with the Columbia Couples Lab. She is a volunteer advocate with the Crime Victims Treatment Center and a crisis counselor for the national Crisis Text Line. Her current research interests include how interventions for co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders can be adapted to better serve adolescents and adults involved in the criminal legal system. In the future, Bailey hopes to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology.
